Why is the Chauvet DJ ILS Ecosystem easier?

The increased accessibility comes from the fact that previously you needed in-depth knowledge of DMX programming. This somewhat complicated programming is now not needed with Chauvet’s ILS. By using the new GigBAR Move + ILS, this means you can achieve automatic, sound-active, and manual programs with multiple ILS fixtures.

● The Chauvet DJ GigBAR Move + ILS is a 5-in-1 lighting system that includes derbies, moving heads, par washes, a laser and several strobe lights built into a single crossbar.

What are the changes in the DJ ILS Ecosystem?

This Ecosystem features a number of notable changes and improvements, such as:

● This improved version of the crossbar has increased the wattage from 10 watts to now 32-watts. Therefore, there is a higher output on the lights overall.

● Red and green lasers have been joined by a vibrant blue.

● Improved brightness and the strobes are now high-powered 5-watt beam LEDs.

Wireless footswitch

The wireless footswitch stands out as a crucial bit of kit because it quite literally puts control capabilities right underneath your feet. This function importantly allows you now to multitask when in operation mode. Unobstructed, it can work from up to 100ft away from the GigBAR.

RF Remote Control

Unlike previous models, this GigBAR now uses an RF remote. This means that there’s no need to get up close and personal with the equipment and point straight at it. Instead, the remote can be used anywhere in range of the GigBAR.

Using the remote allows you to do several exciting things, from switching speeds to choosing specific colours and adjusting transition types. There’s also a freeze button option that halts all the motion but keeps the lights on. This is useful when wanting to make an announcement at the event.

Also, with the remote, you can turn different effects on and off individually. It could be the first dance at a wedding, for example, where you don’t want any strobe lighting effects on until well after the newlyweds first dance.
