The Yamaha HS5: Bi-Amped

Like any decent monitor, the HS5 features a bi-amped configuration, where the bass and trebles are amplified separately. 45 Watts are sent to the woofer and 25 Watts to the compression driver, amounting to a total output of 70 Watts to result in plenty of headroom for clear, accessible mixing. And, as a sweet bonus, Room Control and High Trim functions efficiently adapt the HS5 to match your workspace
