Un booster/distributeur DMX à huit voies comprenant une entrée, une sortie de liaison et huit sorties, chacune isolée électroniquement les unes des autres et de l'entrée. Le S8 peut être utilisé pour simplifier le câblage DMX, permettant aux systèmes d'éclairage d'être câblés au format étoile tout en évitant les erreurs de données. Chacune des huit sorties dispose d'un pilote indépendant couplé à des LED indicatrices DC et DMX. Logé dans un châssis compact en acier, le S8 est parfaitement adapté aux applications mobiles. Le S8 comporte également un certain nombre de trous adaptés aux pinces de ferme ou au montage mural.
