Le DAP ER-1193 est un récepteur True Diversity à un canal. Il dispose d'un affichage clair avec toutes les informations importantes directement à l'écran. Il peut être utilisé en combinaison avec l'ordinateur de poche DAP EM-193 ou le système de ceinture EB-193. La fonctionnalité de verrouillage évite toute modification accidentelle de la sensibilité en fréquence ou la mise hors tension. Il dispose d'un boîtier métallique demi-rack qui permet de monter 2 récepteurs en 1HE avec l'adaptateur de montage en rack D1453 en option.
