Es kann in Kombination mit dem DAP EM-193 Handheld oder dem EB-193 Beltpack verwendet werden. Die Sperrfunktion verhindert eine versehentliche Änderung der Frequenzempfindlichkeit oder ein versehentliches Ausschalten. Es verfügt über ein halbes Rack-Metallgehäuse, das die Montage von 2 Empfängern in 1 HE mit dem optionalen Rack-Montageadapter D1453 ermöglicht.
