Das CM-45 ist ein Back-Elektret-Kondensatormikrofon zur Verwendung als Overhead-Mikrofon. Es ist für Instrumente mit mittlerer bis hoher Frequenz geeignet und kann hohen Schalldruckpegeln ohne Verzerrung standhalten. Dadurch ist es auch eine gute Overhead-Lösung für Trommeln. Es verfügt über einen Low-Cut-Filter und einen Pad-Schalter, was es flexibler für verschiedene Situationen macht.
